The tutorial was started with exercise based on sentence structure. Dr. Noorizah pass the exercises to the whole class and we start discussing among each other. As for myself, I think this topic was easy to understand at first during lecture class last week. But when I was doing the exercise and found many sentences, I get stuck and totally confused. Based on my learning during lecture, simple sentence has only an independent clause. For example, Ram loves his parents very much. And as for compound sentence, there would be two independent clauses. For example, She likes to eat fruits and she likes to eat vegetables. But when it comes to complex and compound complex sentence, i really get confused even i knew the meaning of the structures. Basically, i think that this topic is not hard but it is very confusing. But the best part is, I am able to understand better after doing the exercises and discuss the answer in class together with Dr. Noorizah.
